Christian Brothers Automotive permit hearing set for Oct. 13 in McKinney

A proposed Christian Brothers Automotive location at Independence and Virginia parkways is headed to a public hearing before McKinney’s Planning and Zoning Commission on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

The request is for a specific use permit allowing minor vehicle repair at the southwest corner of South Independence Parkway and Virginia Parkway. It appears as case 26-0010SUP on the city’s published agenda.

The hearing is one step in the approval process. For specific use permits, the commission makes a recommendation to City Council, which takes final action.

The city’s meeting notice lists a 6 p.m. start in City Hall Council Chambers, 401 E. Virginia St. Residents following the proposal can use the case number to find the hearing in the agenda.
