McKinney, Texas — Dallas acquired Zaccharie Risacher from Atlanta on July 19 in a transaction that also included Oklahoma City.
The deal gave the Mavericks the former No. 1 overall draft selection and Atlanta’s top-55-protected second-round pick for 2027. Dallas sent Ryan Nembhard to the Hawks and transferred a 2027 Chicago second-round pick to the Thunder.
Risacher, 21, has played 142 games in his first two NBA seasons. The Mavericks listed his career production as 11.1 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.
Dallas said Risacher earned All-Rookie First Team recognition in 2024-25 and played for France at EuroBasket in 2025. Hoops Rumors reported the teams each made the announcement official.
