The Dallas Cowboys are set to commence their 2026 training camp in Oxnard, California, with players reporting on Monday, July 27. Public practices will start on July 29, and the team's annual Back Together Saturday event is scheduled for August 1. Practices will be open to fans until August 18.

Head coach Brian Schottenheimer, who is in his second year with the team, will hold a press conference on July 29, where he will be joined by owner Jerry Jones and executive vice president Stephen Jones. A primary focus for the camp will be the defense, which struggled last season, allowing an average of 30 points per game, the highest in the league.

New defensive coordinator Christian Parker is implementing a 3-4 scheme, and as many as seven new starters could take the field.

In contrast, the offense remains largely unchanged after averaging 27.7 points per game last season, providing Schottenheimer with a stable unit while the revamped defense works to improve. This marks the 20th year that the Cowboys have held their training camp in Oxnard.
