The momentum continued as Alex Bregnan doubled to left field, driving in one run and moving another runner to third base. Jose Altuve followed with a sacrifice fly to left, adding an insurance run to the frame.

Cristian Javier earned the win for Houston, delivering five innings of work. He allowed three earned runs on seven hits while striking out four batters and issuing no walks. His performance was bolstered by a strong showing from the bullpen, which kept Arizona off balance after the sixth inning.
