Mets Pitching Struggles

The Mets’ bullpen attempted to stabilize the game but could not erase the deficit. Nate Lavender pitched 0.2 innings, giving up two hits but no earned runs before being pulled. Jonathan Pintaro followed with a scoreless inning, allowing one hit and striking out one.
Dedniel Nunez and Kodai Senga each pitched one inning of relief, combining to allow no runs, no hits, and no walks, while recording four total strikeouts between them.
