Avelo Airlines has announced that its service at McKinney Regional Airport will continue through April 20, 2027. The carrier, which is the first commercial airline to operate out of the facility, will maintain nonstop routes to five locations during this extended period.
The destinations available from the airport include Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Orlando, and Tampa in Florida, as well as Las Vegas in Nevada. According to a press release, the airline intends to keep these routes active for the duration of the schedule.
Trevor Yearly, the head of network and revenue at Avelo Airlines, stated that the company aims to make travel convenient and reliable for passengers. "Whether it's a spontaneous weekend trip or that spring vacation you've been eyeing, we're focused on making travel convenient and reliable so you can just show up and go," Yearly said.
He added that the airline offers access to both beach and city destinations via nonstop flights.
