Southwest Fitness Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of CR Fitness Holdings, has opened Crunch McKinney, its 14th facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. The new club is located at 8551 Eldorado Parkway in McKinney, Texas, and represents a $12 million investment in the area.
The approximately 40,000-square-foot facility utilizes Crunch’s 3.0 design concept. Amenities include cardio and strength equipment, group fitness studios, and certified personal training services. Specific features include Crunch Reform Pilates, HIITZone, Ride cycling, and a Hot Studio.
Members also have access to Relax & Recover amenities, which consist of an infrared sauna, HydroMassage beds, and tanning options. The club includes Olympic squat racks, a dedicated Glutes & Abs training space, and performance turf.
The facility operates with 24-hour access on weekdays. A community preview event featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on Tuesday, July 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. Soft opening for members began on Thursday, July 30, at 5:00 a.m.
A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring group fitness demonstrations, personal training specials, local vendors, and giveaways.
Tony Scrimale, CEO of CR Fitness Holdings, stated that the club aims to provide premium amenities and dynamic programming to the Dallas-Fort Worth community. He noted that the 24-hour weekday access is intended to make fitness available to a broader range of individuals.
