My Dallas Criminal Lawyer, a Frisco-based criminal defense practice, opened a new office in McKinney on September 1. The location is situated at 321 N Central Expressway, Suite 309, within the Commercial Bank of Texas building. This site is adjacent to the Collin County Courthouse, where the firm’s attorneys regularly appear in district and county courts.

The McKinney office serves as the firm’s second location in Collin County, complementing its headquarters at 5 Cowboys Way in Frisco. The practice also maintains an office in Dallas at 10100 North Central Expressway, Suite 342. With this addition, the firm now operates three offices across the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

Founding attorney Justin Barrett Wilson, a former Collin County felony prosecutor, stated that the expansion was driven by the need to be physically present where cases are prosecuted. Wilson noted that arrests in surrounding cities such as Frisco, Plano, Allen, and McKinney all proceed through the courts at the county seat.

He said, “Our clients’ cases are prosecuted in McKinney, so that is where we need to be.”

The firm, which was founded in 2020, serves clients across Collin County, Denton County, and the broader region. The legal team possesses a combined 15 years of prosecutorial experience and has handled more than 200 trials. Their backgrounds include felony prosecution within the Collin County District Attorney’s Office.

The new McKinney office will handle a wide range of criminal matters, including DWI charges, assault, domestic violence, sex crimes, drug offenses, theft, juvenile cases, and white-collar crimes. The practice also manages expunctions and nondisclosures. In-person consultations are available by appointment at the new location.

The expansion follows the firm’s selection as the Gold Winner for Best DUI/DWI Lawyer in The Dallas Morning News’ 2025 Best in DFW People’s Choice Awards. Wilson described the firm’s connection to the region, stating, “Collin County is home for this firm.”
