Ono Hawaiian BBQ plans Friday opening on West University Drive in McKinney

Ono Hawaiian BBQ plans to open its McKinney restaurant Friday, October 2, 2026, according to a September 30 report from restaurant trade publication QSR.

The chain’s official store directory lists the location at 4610 W. University Drive, Suite 110, in McKinney. That page still described the restaurant as coming soon when checked Wednesday.

QSR reports that the restaurant will be the chain’s second Texas location, following its Plano opening in July. The menu centers on Hawaiian-style plate lunches.

Opening hours were not listed on the official McKinney location page Wednesday. Check the company’s store page for updated hours before making a trip.
