McKinney residents can choose which city news and meeting-agenda notices to follow through Notify Me. The city's subscription page lists City Council agendas, Planning & Zoning Commission agendas and city news releases among its options.
To set preferences, use the page's sign-in link, then select the email or text-message icon beside the lists you want. The city says standard text-message rates apply. The same list controls can be used to unsubscribe.
The Stay Connected page separately links to the McKinney News E-newsletter and official social accounts. It also groups links by department, including the library, parks and recreation, police and fire.
For meeting notices, select that body’s Notify Me list. The newsletter has its own subscription.
