The McKinney Public Library System is hosting a Creative Writers Workshop for adults. The event is designed for serious writers of all abilities who are seeking a community-driven group environment. Participants can expect support and collaboration at every stage of their writing journey, whether they are bloggers, fiction writers, playwrights, or poets.

The workshop will feature a 90-minute collaborative conversation focused on writing, publishing, and marketing strategies. The session is scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. The location for this event is the John and Judy Gay Library.

Although the Roy and Helen Hall Memorial library is currently closed for renovations, holds and returns are available at the John and Judy Gay Library and McKinney City Hall. This specific workshop is noted as an online event. The URL for the online session will be sent to participants via email upon confirmation of registration.

Registration is required for attendance. There are 17 seats available for this session. Attendees must select the ticket quantity based on the number of participants. By attending, individuals consent to their voice, name, and likeness being used in promotional materials without compensation.
