McKinney Farmers Market Storytime Returns July 18

The McKinney Public Library System is hosting Farmers Market Storytime for all ages at the McKinney Farmers Market in Historic Chestnut Square. The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 18, 2026. Additional sessions are planned for Saturday, August 8, 2026.

Attendees can choose between two storytime sessions. The first session runs from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and the second session runs from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The event takes place at Chestnut Square. Participants will enjoy stories, songs, and activities as a family. Following the storytime, attendees may stay to enjoy the farmers market.

Registration is required to attend. There are 29 seats available for the July 18 event. Participants must select the number of people attending, ranging from one to ten. The online event URL will be sent via email upon confirmation of registration. The theme for the event is to be announced.

The McKinney Public Library System notes that the Roy & Helen Hall Memorial library is currently closed for renovations. Holds and returns are available at the John & Judy Gay Library and McKinney City Hall. The Farmers Market Storytime is an in-person event, though registration is processed online.
