The McKinney Public Library System is scheduling a Nature Walk Storytime event for all ages at the John and Judy Gay Library. The program is set for Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
The event invites participants to enjoy stories, songs, and bubbles during a stroll around the library grounds. Strollers, walkers, waddlers, and wagons are permitted. The theme for this session is frogs. The agenda includes a welcome, a hello song, stories and songs, walking and talking, a goodbye song, and bubbles with a stamp.
The library states that the program is designed to enhance and encourage literacy, launch discovery and self-directed learning, and foster community involvement and relationship building.
Registrations for the event open at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Participants must select the ticket quantity based on the number of attendees. An additional date is listed for Saturday, August 22, 2026.
The Roy and Helen Hall Memorial library is currently closed for renovations. Holds and returns are available at the John and Judy Gay Library and McKinney City Hall.

By attending the event, participants consent to their voice, name, and/or likeness being used in promotional materials without compensation. They also release the City of McKinney, its assignees, and licensees from any liability. Attendees are instructed not to attend if they do not wish to be subject to these terms.
