The gathering will take place at the John and Judy Gay Library. The Roy & Helen Hall Memorial library is currently closed for renovations, so holds and returns are available at the John and Judy Gay Library and McKinney City Hall.

The event description invites participants to "be one with the force" and traverse a galaxy far, far away. Activities include making crafts, eating snacks, and playing games. The schedule for the evening is as follows:

  • 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Star Wars crafts and games
  • 8:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.: Wrapping up and beginning slow cleanup
  • 8:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: Teens are picked up and finish cleanup

Registration is required for this event. There are 19 seats available. Participants must select the ticket quantity based on the number of attendees. The event is listed as an online event, and the URL will be sent via email upon confirmation of registration.

Attendees are asked to consent to their voice, name, and/or likeness being used in promotional materials without compensation. By attending, participants release the City of McKinney, its assignees, and licensees from any liability. Those who do not wish to be subject to these terms are advised not to attend.

Residents can register through the library's Libcal system. For more information, residents may visit the library website or contact the Technology Systems Team.
