Baylor University has released its official depth chart in preparation for the upcoming game against Auburn. The chart reveals several anticipated positions as well as ongoing battles for starting roles.
One notable competition is between wide receivers Jadon Porter and Dre'lon Miller for the third spot. While both Louis Brown and Gavin Freeman are confirmed starters, Miller, a transfer from Colorado who missed some fall practices due to injury, faces a challenge from Porter, who had a productive previous season with nine receptions for 85 yards and one touchdown.
The offensive line lineup has been confirmed as expected, with Koltin Sieracki moving to center following the NCAA battle faced by Memphis transfer Yakiri Walker. The starting lineup includes Logan Moore at left tackle, Nate Kibble at left guard, Asher Hale at right guard, and Kaden Sieracki at right tackle, with Kaden being the only returning full-time starter.
Defensive positions also show competitive dynamics, particularly at nose tackle and strong safety. Indiana transfer Hosea Wheeler is in a contest with Marshall transfer Jamaal Whyce Jr. for the nose tackle position, while Jacob Redding is in a similar situation with Devin Turner at strong safety. At tight end, Matthew Klopfenstein has been named the starter over Florida transfer Tony Livingston. Klopfenstein, who has experience with eight receptions for 73 yards last season, will be expected to step up in his fourth year with the team.
