Jaydon Blue, a running back for the Dallas Cowboys, did not participate in Tuesday's joint practice with the New Orleans Saints because of a shoulder injury, according to Patrik Walker from the Cowboys' official site.
In the Cowboys' preseason opener last weekend, Blue had 10 touches and gained 34 yards. He is competing for the RB2 position behind Javonte Williams and is expected to receive significant playing time this preseason.
Should Blue be unable to play in the upcoming game against the Arizona Cardinals, it is anticipated that Malik Davis may have the opportunity to step in and compete for the backup role. Further details regarding the severity of Blue's injury and his availability for Saturday's game are not yet clear.
