The Dallas Cowboys have restructured the contracts of players Jake Ferguson, DaRon Bland, and Kenny Clark to create additional financial flexibility as they prepare for the 2026 NFL season.
This move is part of a series of contractual adjustments the team has made since the offseason began, which also included restructuring deals for Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Tyler Smith, Terence Steele, and Malik Hooker.
Bland and Ferguson both secured contract extensions that will keep them with the Cowboys through the 2025 season. Bland's new four-year deal is worth $92 million, extending his tenure in Dallas until 2030. Ferguson also signed a four-year extension, valued at $52 million, which similarly keeps him with the team through 2030.
Kenny Clark has undergone contract restructuring for the second time this offseason, with his current deal now extending through the 2028 season.
The restructuring increases the Cowboys' salary cap space, providing them with more options for potential personnel moves. Team owner Jerry Jones has indicated a cautious approach to making significant roster changes, stating he is excited about the team's potential while remaining open to opportunities that may arise.
"I'm even more excited today than I was when we started camp that our team is going to be one that if we can have some things go right for us, avoid some injury, we could really be something that we all want to be, and that's a team that's competing for the big game," Jones said during training camp in Oxnard, California.
