Texans Announce Roster Changes Ahead of Week 1 Against Bills

The Houston Texans have made multiple roster changes ahead of their Week 1 game.

The Houston Texans have executed a series of roster moves as they prepare for their Week 1 matchup against the Buffalo Bills at Reliant Stadium on September 13.

Among the changes, the Texans have waived 22 players, including Dominic Bailey, Lewis Bond, and Brandon Codrington. Additionally, several players have been waived due to injury, such as Solomon Byrd and Kyonte Hamilton.

The team has also released notable players including Bryce Hall, Caleb Johnson, and Zay Jones. In a trade, the Texans sent Jarrett Patterson to the San Francisco 49ers and acquired Nathan Thomas from the Dallas Cowboys.

Furthermore, the Texans have placed players on various injury lists. Tank Dell and Ja'Marcus Ingram have been designated for return, while Ali Gaye has been placed on the Reserve/Injured list. E.J. Speed is among those placed on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.
