Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Nico Collins and Ed Ingram could be available for Sunday’s Week 4 game against the Dallas Cowboys. Neither player has appeared in Houston’s past two games.
"We're hopeful to get both guys back this week," Ryans said. Collins is a Pro Bowl wide receiver and a three-time 1,000-yard performer, while Ingram plays guard.
Jadeveon Clowney remains listed as week-to-week because of a knee injury. The defensive end has also missed the past two games. Houston recorded five sacks and forced two fumbles in its most recent game.
Houston’s passing production outside of Dalton Schultz has been limited during Collins’ absence. Xavier Hutchinson led the team in targets over the last two games, making nine catches for 120 yards. Collins had seven receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown in one game against the Buffalo Bills.
Wyatt Teller has started at right guard while Ingram has been out. The Texans have rushed for 130 yards and one touchdown across the last two games. The game at Reliant Stadium is scheduled to begin at Noon. Further details about the players’ availability were not provided.
