As Baylor University approaches the start of the football season, the projected offensive starters have been established following the second week of fall camp.

At quarterback, DJ Lagway is set to lead the offense. Coaches have praised Lagway's performance since his arrival in Waco, where he expresses a strong sense of comfort in the offensive system under coordinator Jake Spavital.

Dawson Pendergrass is anticipated to take on the running back role after Bryson Washington's transfer. Pendergrass missed last season but previously demonstrated his capabilities with over 670 rushing yards and six touchdowns during his freshman and sophomore years. His physical running style and ability to catch passes make him a valuable asset in the backfield.

For the wide receiver positions, Louis Brown IV is expected to be the primary target, utilizing his experience from Colorado State and San Diego State, where he accumulated over 1,100 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Dre'lon Miller, another wide receiver, joins from Colorado and is noted for his versatility and potential after making 52 catches for over 435 yards in his previous two years.

Gavin Freeman, a transfer from Oklahoma State, will likely fill the slot receiver position, bringing speed and agility that could enhance crossing routes and short passes.

At tight end, Tony Livingston, who previously played at Florida, is expected to contribute both as a blocker and a pass catcher, providing familiarity for Lagway.

The offensive line will feature Logan Moore at left tackle, a junior transfer from UAB, alongside Nate Kibble at left guard, who transferred from Texas. Koltin Sieracki will serve as the center, and Asher Hale, a junior transfer from South Alabama, is projected to play right guard. The right tackle position has not yet been specified.

Further details regarding the offensive lineup and any additional changes are not yet clear as the team continues preparations for the upcoming season.
