The Collin County History Museum opens its historic building after dark on Saturday, October 24, for an evening of haunted local history from 5:00 to 10:00 PM. Guests journey through the lobby, main gallery, research room and second-floor archive room in small timed groups of 20, entering every 20 minutes between 5:40 and 9:00 PM. The tour includes storytelling, theatrical performances, live music and ghost legends from McKinney and Collin County. Costumes are encouraged and a costume contest will be held. Admission is $25 for ages 12 and up; a $35 VIP ticket for guests 21 and older adds one drink ticket and access to a basement speakeasy.
