Travelers can now book stays at the AC Hotel McKinney by Marriott, which is scheduled to officially open on November 15 in the Craig Ranch district. The property is located within the Hub 121 development, adding to the area’s expanding hospitality and commercial landscape.
The five-story hotel will contain 137 guestrooms, including eight suites. Managed by Peachtree Hospitality Group, the building follows the minimalist design aesthetic typical of the AC Hotels brand. General manager Craig Barnett stated that the property aims to blend purposeful design with elevated service for both business travelers and weekend visitors.
Guests will have access to several dining and gathering venues. The AC Kitchen offers a European-inspired breakfast, while the AC Lounge serves cocktails and tapas-style plates. A fifth-floor venue named Good & Proper Wood Fired Bistro provides contemporary American cuisine with Texas influences.
Additional amenities include a fitness center, an outdoor pool and patio, nearly 3,000 square feet of meeting space, and a 24-hour AC Store.
The hotel’s location in Hub 121 places it near several local landmarks, including the McKinney Corporate Center, Globe Life’s corporate headquarters, the Credit Union of Texas Event Center, and Watters Creek Village. This proximity is intended to support corporate travelers while providing a base for exploring McKinney and the broader Dallas-Fort Worth region.
