The Princeton Police Department processed a variety of incidents during the week ending June 26, 2026. The town is located approximately 7 miles east of McKinney. Officers responded to numerous calls for service involving thefts, vehicle collisions, disturbances, and reports of suspicious behavior.
The week began on Saturday, June 20, with reports of suspicious activity on 11th Ave. S. early in the morning. Later that day, officers addressed a disturbance on the same street, a harassment complaint on Oak Ln. N., and removed an unwanted individual from Rum River Dr. S. Suspicious activity was also reported on 7th Ave. later that evening.
On Sunday, June 21, suspicious activity was reported on Rum River Dr. S. in the early hours. The department handled a theft on 21st Ave. N. and a noise complaint on 3rd St. N. later that night.
Monday, June 22, saw a report of a predatory offender on 21st Ave. S. and a theft on 18th St. Officers also responded to a court order violation on 6th Ave. N. and a vehicle accident at the intersection of 21st Ave. and 1st St. Criminal damage to property was reported on Rum River Dr. N. in the evening.
Tuesday, June 23, included a pursuit on Highway 169 near Rum River Dr. N. and a response to a fire on Sante Fe St. Trespassing complaints and the removal of an unwanted person from 4th Ave. S. were also handled. Suspicious activity was reported on 13th Ave. N. at 12th St. N. late at night.
Wednesday, June 24, featured suspicious activity reports on 19th Ave. S. and Rum River Dr. S., along with a threats complaint on 19th Ave. S. A disturbance on 7th Ave. N. was addressed in the evening.
