Collin County commissioners are scheduled to discuss an artificial-intelligence acceptable-use policy Monday, Oct. 5, at a meeting in McKinney.

The county’s official agenda lists item AI-60898, “AI Acceptable Use Policy,” under general discussion. Information Technology is the submitting department, and the item allows for discussion and possible action. The agenda listing does not establish that the policy has been adopted.

The meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. on the fourth floor of the Jack Hatchell Administration Building, 2300 Bloomdale Road. People wishing to speak must submit a completed public-comment form before the meeting starts; the agenda limits each speaker to three minutes.

The county’s meeting page provides the full agenda and is the place to check for a subsequent recording or action record.
