The City of McKinney has introduced the Apex Centre App, a new digital tool designed to streamline the experience for members of the Apex Centre fitness facility. The application consolidates membership details, class schedules, and facility updates into a single platform accessible via mobile devices.

The app is available for download on the App Store and Google Play Store under the name "Apex Centre - McKinney TX." Users are instructed to open the application and enable push notifications to receive real-time updates regarding class changes, weather delays, amenity closures, and other important facility announcements.

A primary feature of the app is the digital membership card. Members can access their barcode within the app to scan in at the front desk, eliminating the need to carry physical cards. The application also allows users to search for classes, register for fitness programs, swimming lessons, sports, and camps, and check in upon arrival.

To use the app, individuals must have an existing Apex Centre (ActiveNet) login. The city advises that if a user has forgotten their login credentials, they should visit the ActiveNet website and select the option for "Forgot your password/login name." The app does not require a new username or password; it utilizes existing account credentials.

For those who are not currently members, the city directs them to complete the Apex Centre Account Creation Request form online. After submitting the form, individuals must visit the Apex Centre facility in person to finalize their membership. The city notes that online account creation requests typically require 24 to 48 business hours to process.

Residents seeking immediate assistance are encouraged to visit the facility directly. Information regarding membership and day pass rates is available on the city's official website.
