Angela Stanford is returning to TCU as an assistant coach for the women's golf team, following her recent work as captain of the U.S. team at the Solheim Cup. Further details about her duties were not provided.
Stanford played for the Horned Frogs from 1996 to 2000 and earned All-American honors four times. She is the only four-time All-American in TCU women's golf history and holds the program record with 10 wins. Stanford also has experience as a major champion.
Saginaw, where Stanford is from, is about 15 miles from Fort Worth.
