Baylor quarterback DJ Lagway will miss Saturday’s game against Louisiana Tech because of an ankle injury, putting Nate Bennett in line for his second consecutive start.
Lagway, who transferred from Florida, sustained the injury during Baylor’s season-opening loss to Auburn. He also missed last week’s game against Prairie View A&M after being listed as doubtful before Saturday’s game.
Bennett passed for 314 yards and contributed to four touchdowns against Prairie View A&M. He also threw two interceptions.
Louisiana Tech will be without starting quarterback Blake Baker, who has a hand injury. Trey Kukuk is set to start for the Bulldogs.
