Oziyah Sellers is now part of SMU’s men’s basketball program, although the school has not set a timetable for a decision on his eligibility. The fifth-year guard has enrolled at SMU and is practicing with the team, the school announced.
Sellers spent last season at St. John’s, opening 36 games for a team that went 30-7 and captured the Big East championship. He scored 10.3 points per game, along with 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists. The season before that, he started every game for Stanford and posted 13.7 points per game in the ACC.
He also played two seasons at USC under SMU coach Andy Enfield. Sellers has connected on 37.8% of his three-point attempts over his career, including a sophomore-season best of 42.9% at USC. He has made 86.9% of his free throws. SMU is entering Enfield’s third season and begins 2026-27 with a transfer class that On3 ranks 21st nationally.
