Houston Texans linebacker Henry To’oTo’o will be out for an unspecified period after suffering a shoulder injury, coach DeMeco Ryans said September 14.
To’oTo’o was injured during the fourth quarter of Houston’s 36-31 loss to the Buffalo Bills and did not return. Ryans said the fourth-year inside linebacker will be sidelined for “some time.”
To’oTo’o recorded two tackles in the game. He had 95 tackles during the 2025 season and more than 100 in 2024.
The injury adds to the Texans’ linebacker concerns. Troy Chapman of Over The Cap noted on X that To’oTo’o had been seen wearing a sling, while Garret Williams of Houston Stressans identified Wade Woodaz and Jake Hansen as possible options. Hansen also sustained an injury during the loss, according to the report.
The source did not provide a specific timetable for To’oTo’o’s return.
