Jadeveon Clowney will not play in the Texans’ Sunday matchup with the Bengals after being ruled out because of a knee injury.

The defensive end did not take part in any Week 2 practices because of the latest issue. It is his third injury in three weeks.

Clowney had dealt with ankle and hip problems before Houston’s 36-31 loss to Buffalo last Sunday. With him unavailable, Dominique Robinson and Sabastain Harash are expected to divide the reserve snaps at edge rusher behind Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter.

CBS Sports reported the update. Further details about Clowney’s knee injury were not provided.
