The McKinney Community Development Corporation is scheduled to review a retail development infrastructure grant application on Sept. 24, 2026.
The proposal comes from Shorty’s McKinney, LLC and seeks approval for exterior improvements at a commercial site in the city.
The requested funds will support electrical work, plumbing, and general site improvements required to open a restaurant.
The development is located at 109 N. Kentucky Street in McKinney, Texas.
The grant application requests up to $29,644.00 for the exterior infrastructure portion of the project.
This amount represents 75 percent of the total projected cost for exterior improvements.
City officials will discuss and act on the RI 26-01 application during the scheduled meeting.
