The Baylor Bears football team is experiencing notable changes on its offensive line as the new season approaches. With only one full-time starter returning, Kaden Sieracki at right tackle, the team faces uncertainty in this crucial position.

The Bears had initially hoped to start Memphis transfer Yakiri Walker at center, but he is no longer part of the team after his injunction was denied and has transitioned to a coaching role. This development has led to further adjustments within the offensive line.

Offensive line coach Austin Woods has indicated that Koltin Sieracki, who was expected to play guard this season, has stepped up to take over the center position. Woods noted, "Right now, Koltin Sieracki... has been getting a lot of reps with the guys over the summer."

Sieracki, who prefers playing center, expressed his comfort in the role, stating, "I think it's more of a natural position for me."

In addition to Sieracki, Texas transfer Nate Kibble and South Alabama transfer Asher Hale have been working alongside him at the guard position. UAB transfer Logan Moore is currently positioned at left tackle, while Toledo transfer Cole Rhett is being utilized in various roles, which may indicate he is competing for a starting position or could assume Sieracki's previous role as a sixth lineman.

Woods commented on the progress of Rhett and Hale, stating, "Cole's playing kind of all over the place. We're kind of getting him some reps and working him into different spots." As the team prepares for its upcoming matchup against Auburn, the final configuration of the offensive line remains to be seen as players continue to adapt to their new roles.

Further details regarding the complete lineup and any additional changes have not yet been provided.
